I totally get this. I was the same way with Rush. I got to see them for the last time with the dude that I first started listening to Rush with 40 years ago, in his basement. I hadn't seen him in 6 or 7 years and it was a flood of emotions.
It's learn some SLAYER day, kids!
So tune down (or up if your like me ) and lets do this!
Holy sh!t.... those are like, my two favorite things in the world smashed together.
That's so bada$$, you can slide for posting it on Wednesday!
It would’ve taken a lot of self discipline to have sat on that for four more days. It’s not looking me he’s a yogi or anything.
Doh, I totally F'ed up! Maybe I should delete the post and repost on Sunday?
Yeah. Space is at a premium now, we’re under forty posts away from the close/end of the thread.
Well you should have the last post, so if I need to delete one of mine to assure you the coveted spot, I'll be happy to do so.
It’s not like I need the last one, DISTORT6 and Bodia have been keeping this alive more than I have... it’s just that with this being Slayer’s last year, and the fact that we’re approaching 666 posts pretty quick, we gotta make ‘em count.
The Wham! Vs Slayer video you posted is quite honestly one of the best additions in years.
100% agree, I had a grin for the whole 3:44 mins.
........... I can only envision an opposite mashup, but maybe G.M.s vocals might not cut thru a metal mix.
He did a great job with Queen...
Yep, he just killed it on "Somebody to Love", but then Queen & Slayer are 2 different critters altogether.
If somebody has the wherewithal to mash GM on a metal track then we'll see ................. what a cut & paste world we live in.
THis is one of my favorite threads!
I just found this from the show I was at.
...and at around 1:06 is when I really lost it.
