My guess is this is a fly rig or backline rental for an off date - absolutely not his normal rig. I dont think he knows how to function with only a halfstack haha

Mike, he's not using the archon with this tour. He does have it as a backup. He said this touring rig is pretty much bare bones. If I remember the conversation correctly, he's on touring with 4 pedals as well plus the wah. Very minimal.

Ok, so I'm almost glad to know it wasn't AXStv and it was the actual sound that was just all over the place for the bands at ROTR

I've heard the sound on XM Radio was better, but I didn't catch any of that to judge for myself.

My wife ran into a guy we've both worked with recently, and he asked her if I watched any of it, and she said I'd watched most of it. He said, "Maybe a better question is why wasn't he there?" My wife said, "That was discussed..." Not for this year, but maybe next year or the year after.
