That was my proposed (and subsequently rejected) title for the-band-I-play-in’s latest EP that came out.
Aside from my main gig as a housewife that moonlights as a colossal sh!t-talker on the Internet about PRS guitars, I occasionally play guitar and mellow electric piano with a pair of brothers. And by brothers, I mean an actual pair of two siblings, one set from Argentina and the other from suburban Chicagoland.
It works out great because I’m simultaneously the tie-breaker, and the disposable one, and the guy that gets his own motel room, and I can easily opt out of group texts when sh!t gets personal without it seeming like I’m disinterested in band politics. It’s a good part-time dad-band kinda gig for me, plus practice is like, three blocks from my home.
So, “The Brothers Hermanos” (another great name I came up with that got shot down) decided to release this on Christmas . At first I was hesitant to share it with y’all but then I figured... WTF, it is was it is, and the least I could do was share what kinda stuff I’ve been doing.
I’m not totally psyched about the mixes/mastering and some choices that were made but, people rarely are, and I didn’t make myself as available as I probably should have.
All guitars are played through the DG30, and all the guitars are PRS, being my HB Spruce (played by the singer) and either the Mighty Whitey West St. or my green Santana. The easiest way to tell who’s playing what is if there’s a sh!t ton of ‘verb and some keyboards playing under it: it’s probably him.
I’ll link to YouTube videos because it’s easy, but it’s available on all the streaming formats in case you want to facilitate me making phantom tollbooth levels of pocket change.
