I definitely dig the new SE SAS. One may be in my future...or an SE Custom 24 Quilt for purposes of dropping some EMG's in and making it another drop tune guitar. As for the necks, I'm surprised that no one in this thread has mentioned the fact that the new SE's (CE, SAS, Cu Quilt) are all scarf jointed necks as opposed to the other SE's which are rocking the multi piece laminated necks.

Got my hands on a SE SAS and LOVED it! It's the only one I've seen anywhere actually available but it was in Charcoal and the Iri Blue just looks too good. As anyone heard any news on the production schedule? All dealers just say out of stock and expecting to get more in "months". Ugh! Would really like to get a better idea of when it will be available but can't find any more details.

They get made in Indonesia and shipped to the US/wherever by cargo ship. So they will arrive when they arrive, unfortunately. I'm sure PRS has a finger on that pulse, but they rarely share such info.
