I recently purchased a 2016 custom 24 SE. I love everything about it except for the pick-ups. Neck and bridge are both entirely to bassey. Wondering what pick-ups would be a good replacement

Also pickup height, kind of strings you use, and the string gauge as well. As DTR has alluded, the amp can make a huge difference. If you’re using the same tone settings you use for other guitars then that would be your problem.

Clearly we have intimidated the new guy with our wealth of knowledge and insight.

I can't believe he fell for it.

Have you tried lowering the pickups while raising the adjustable polepieces?

My pickups don't have pole pieces, they're flat covered like active pickups. I bought it used and I'm not positive they're the original pickups
