One man one life make the best of what you have
has anyone ever seen or played a Ovation Matrix l had one given to me about 10 years ago, l could not believe my eyes when l saw the finger board was made of steal or Alloy. it was in dam near perfect condition and looked like it had been kept in the case. NOW THEN you may ask did it play ok,,,, MMMMM well it was not great to be honest, and with me been a ovation user l hardly ever played it. I kept it for a couple of years and went to our local guitar shop and asked them what they thought about the trade in value. OMG l was shocked they offered me a new Epiphone Les Paul with case. l could not get out of the shop quick enough. funny thing is l never saw it go on sale in the shop or on display. Just to add to this as l say l love my Ovation Cellb Pro,,,,,, but while l was in FL l bought a 12 Ovation to my mind it did not have a good sound l just could not get used to it, maybe it was just me
