Hello~
I'm new in here, and I got Old Se Santana 2001 recently.

Appearance is not pretty, but the sound killer~!
But I got a big problem~ Help me out guys!

For initial setting, the string height was 2mm at 12th fret at the beginning.
After half turne of truss rod, it became 1.2mm.
And there were 4 springs on the tremolo arm with 010 string.
The playing has been fun after setting.

However, after 3 weeks, I just found out that the string height has been incereased again.(about 2mm)
Is it because of I used 010 string? (Official saids that SE use 009)

The Old se neck is quite thinner than recent one.
Eventhough there were over tension on the neck,
I don't believe the neck is that weak to bend again in a month.

If there is anyone who has same experience, Please share some of yours~!

The neck should be able to take 10's as well as 9's. The neck change might just be due to the change in seasons. Adjust it again and see.

Check to make sure the neck relief is good. It's possible that the truss rod might need an additional tweak to get the proper relief.
If that looks good, then double check the trem.

Thanks for your advice Eric. As you said, it might need some time to get it right, since it is not the math.
