Nearly everybody has given thought to their top 10 or top 25 songs, or a desert island list kind of thing. Even if you haven't, you probably have some internal list of your favorites and could whip out a list of 10 that might not necessarily be your all-time favorites, but they'd serve the purpose.
I don't care about those.
What I want to hear is - what songs do you hear and think "I wouldn't put this on my favorites list, but damn, this is nice - maybe it should be considered since I've just played it five times in a row"?
The latest one for me was "Nights On Broadway" by the Bee Gees. I was listening to a greatest hits collection and that song came up and I played it four or five times. And not only would it not be in my top 10, I'm not sure it makes my top five Bee Gees songs (although probably the top 10 of those).
"Until The Night" by Billy Joel is another. I never just listen to that one once.
And...well, you get the idea.
Yours???
