I fell in love with my McCarty DC 245 although it has vintage tuners which they seem stable as the locking ones
plus I found it light at 7.5 pounds and it's a joy to play...
Absolutely a gem of an instrument you got there...looks amazing. I played a new 2016 McCarty a few weeks ago, it felt SO much more sublime than my DGT.
My McCarty is my main guitar. I long to buy a 594, but in terms of versatility probably the regular McCarty is unbeatable.
Beautiful sunburst you've got there!

For me, the 594 wins on versatility with the four knob setup and the individual coil splits, but I love the extra bit of snap the classic McCarty design has. The single coil tones are better. I considered getting one and having PTC add the Signature switching to it.
As always on this forum, the only logical conclusion is you need both!
