NGD: DC McCarty 594 Fire Red 10 Top

Picked myself up a 2023 10 top double cut McCarty 594 in Fire Red. Darker in person than I was expecting, but still a great guitar, with some interesting features in the top. Sounds and plays incredibly well, so much so I think it'll probably kick my single cut black/green sparkle 594 out...

Fire Red Burst has been a color that I have liked a lot, but somehow I have never owned one (except I think a Fire Red Glow Private Stock DC 594 in like 2017, but that looked different than the Core finish.)

I plan to rectify that very soon!

Appreciate all the 594 love. Already got some PRS Vintage locking tuners on the way, coz I'm lazy when it comes to stringe changes. But this thing plays and sounds like a dream. I'm really diggin' it!

Fire Red Burst is definitely an interesting color. Mine is a good bit darker looking than it was in the pictures I looked at when I bought it. That is a PRS thing though. They are made to look great under stage lights. If you get it in natural light or bright light they just pop.
