NGD: “I Have A Blue Obsession”

I have a serious problem and her name is Makena Blue.

Many of you probably share my affinity for the hunt. The hunt for a perfect PRS that is: finding exact specs, top, and finish is hard enough with new ones let alone used signature models. Anyway I’ve been trolling on and off for maybe a year looking at Grainger basses since I do more performing on bass these days and previously had a serviceable yet plain P-bass. When this one popped up in Makena blue *and* four string I knew it was the one. Strangely enough, this is actually the first flamed maple top PRS I’ve ever had since my obsession with quilt runs pretty deep too.
