Very cool, guys! I like all of these. Colors I'm partial to are burgandy/maroon and gold (duh). I may need to give this a try myself.

Oh, yeah, super thick cobra lol.

Seriously, though, it's triple for most of the way down. Basically, the first layer is attached similar o a prusik, and wrapped around the attachment 3 times (looks like six), is ran down, each side wrapped on the other attachment three times and then run a single cobra back down. Then the middle color is double for 2/3-3/4 the way down. Then the final cobra comes down over it all and makes a triple over the middle and a double for the end that middle doesn't cover.

It's been a LONG time. I made a few more of these since this has been posted. The red one and the one with the casings have gone on to be given to Mark Tremonti and Myles Kennedy as gifts this past October. Here are some more recent ones.
