Sucker for Squabbins
Hey All,
Had some fun with this!
So I’ve always wanted a PRS with a Whitewash finish, but aside from finding one of the “White Tiger” finishes they did years ago, or go full on Private Stock (both of which are not financially in my reach) I decided, why don’t I create my own “Signature” SE bass. What do you think?!
The Kingfisher “Winter Storm”
•Maple Fretboard w/ MOP Birds
•Quilt Top & Headstock finished in Whitewash
•Gold Hardware

Everything else will stay the same, that way no new tooling of wood combos will need to be ironed out. Throw a veneer on top, just like most SE guitars, and there you have it! Most of these overseas manufacturers are getting really good at these type of finishes! Just look at what’s on the market lately.
Anyways, a guy can dream.... And maybe someone from PRS will see this
(*cough* Jack or Jim)
and we can start a new “SE Collaborative” Series
