New Pedalboard aka Nebulon B progress build

I would be asking to speak with The Captain!🤬

Yeah, they stitched me twice this year like that. I'm a little bit angry.

Well at least you got this -

Can't see the photo, brother

There is the update as I have it now. I will probably lay the MIDI path tomorrow and just connect it to the splitter when it arrives. I did some more tinny bits shopping today. It may look like a pedalboard next week, yet I need the MIDI splitter to make it function like one

Playing direct? Yeah, most of my pedals are or being used as tone polishers, so it's not far off from what I usually do. I just had to bump the gains 1/3 of the knob rotation, and I'm halfway there. I miss my pedals, though.
Just Play Heavier Stuff And You Won't Need The Polish...LOL.

Cannibal Corpse Doesn't Have Any Polish. ;)

I Hear Ya Though My Friend...I'm Just Messing With You. It Is Nice To Have Some Sauce For Things When You Want/Need It. I Am Just Trying To Get People To Play Heavier Stuff. :)

I'm pumping more drive than you think ;)

I worked on my pedalboard today, but I don't have any pictures because even though I made a lot of progress, it's not really that noticeable, haha. Since it's been a while since I last worked on it, the main challenge was figuring out where's my **** at. Things come and go from Camp Simon, and often packages with cables, connectors, and other smaller parts end up in random places in my guitar room. The same goes for my tools and everything else, really. Another challenge was with the MIDI cables - the TRS to DIN standard is like a box of chocolates; you never know what you're gonna get. I'm not kidding, I have two A-type cables from Boss and EBS, and they're different, with the tip and ring positions swapped. This is exactly why I was waiting for that DA MIDI box; it's fully programmable, and I can change the direction of sink and source. I ended up having to make my own DIN to TRS cables, so at least I know the standard and the starting point.

I'm hoping to have the pedalboard up and running by tomorrow, unless other things come up and I have to redirect my focus.

...and sure as ****, something came up, so I only made some progress before I had to stop for the rest of the day.

But at least I have photos to share.

All the lower and inner deck pedals and utilities are installed and connected, except for the RC10-R looper. It's part of an FX loop rail so I will leave it for last. I have laid down the cable to the Omni-out and the channel switch, but I cannot find the connectors. I have some idea where they might be, and I'm hoping that the mini-TRS cable to hook up the RC10 to the MIDI Box is there too.

I have a week off next week, it's mostly planned, but I may magically create the moment to finish it up and start on the upper deck.

What you think?

That's a work of art, a thing of merriment and joy!

I wish I had the patience to do that kind of wiring job. But I don't. Still, you have my admiration once again, sir!

This project required a lot of patience. It's simpler than the previous version, but at the same time more flexible and now fully programmable. Even though I wanted to make it less complicated, I still managed to be creative with space distribution. It's hard to see, but there is another pedal underneath the MIDI box – it's the same rehoused Secret Preamp (I have two) that I had on the old board. The upper deck will only be half finished, but I will talk about it in detail the moment I make some progress there

That looks like something they found in the ship at Roswell.
