New Korina Guitar Day

Scored my very first Korina guitar and it’s a doozy. 2007 McCarty Korina in near NOS condition. Gorgeous natural with birds, and the bridge and pickups shine like new. Honestly it was presented as clean and I am not sure I could tell it from new.

I got it local and was able to check it out before doing the deal. Neck is awesome, on the thinner side of wide fat which works great for me. I gave it the once over and cannot find a flaw to speak about. Set up now with nines so other than a swap to tens and tweak if needed it is good to go. Haven’t plugged it in yet so just pics for now. These are seller pics but they’re good.

These things in natural-finish just totally rock that late '50s G*bson all-korina V & Explorer vibe so well. A classic if you ask me!
