It took me ages to learn to use the amp settings more. I often drop bass and treble really low, add resonance and presence and then mix in the highs and lows but rely more on the presence for treble and have it turned really low on the pre amp. Seems to work well for my DSL especially on the cleaner and crunchy tones. The rest I just use the guitar. Before I always had everything at noon or higher and always wondered why it always sounded bright or even glassy without much body.
