Need help to identify the year and model of this PRS

I just bought my first PRS guitar from a friend of mine. It is a PRS SE Custom 24 and I would love to learn the year and colorway of this guitar just in case I have to sell it (hopefully not) in the future.

Unfortunately, my friend is a dud who got this in a trade and did not bother knowing what year and model this is haha.

Burl is just the wood, which it is.

dang now I am not sure. He has a black pickup selector and his pattern is way much better HAHAHA

Well in a way it is a special model. There are a few SEs that have different features over the years and this would be one. I don't know if that means too much monetarily per say. I know when I see one out I'm like "Cool".

Does "Exotic" means different to a "Limited Edition" in PRS terms?

I notice that in some colorways it says exotic or limited edition.

It wasn’t a standard run, so yes it’s “limited”. But it’s not like you’ll get 2x what it’s worth. It’s still an SE.

Enjoy it and sell it when it brings you no joy.
