PRS SE CUSTOM 24 X DIMARZIO

Hey everyone,

I would like to change the 85/15 "S" pickups with Demarzio “Steve Vai Signature Model UtoPIATM Neck and bridge" for my prs se custom 24, I like the sound and especially the aesthetics.

Is this compatible with the guitar and will the Push/Pull Tone Control with 3-Way Blade Pickup Switch still work?

Yes. You’ll just need to figure out the color code scheme for the wiring on the new pickups.

There should be a wiring diagram on the Dimarzio site. Their color scheme for the wires may be different than the PRS pickups.

If you’re still working on the PRS , my Seymour Duncan Jazz neck pickup came with 4 wiring diagrams to make sure they cover various volume and tone controls. My custom SE has one master volume and one tone push/pull.
