I just thought I would share a pic of my 2013 but new to me, Santana SE. I believe that these were a Europe only model, there was a similar USA model but I think that had a solid spalted maple top, whereas this is a veneer. No matter" Pick ups are stock, I find them really good, deceptively clean and articulate, even when driving it hard. I put tele style knobs on, they are on all of my guitars, and I fitted locking tuners, but that is it. I love it and it has already done about 20 gigs with me...

Nice

I dunno man, I heard about a dude who bought one of the Santana guitars and they passed out from dehydration while they were waiting for the first note to stop sustaining....

Personally...I'd love a Santana model. But I love simple guitars.
The Santana is pretty simple in my opinion. I didn't want one but I kept reading Sergio's comments over and over and decided to buy one. VERY glad I did. I've gigged and recorded with mine quite a bit and is my favorite trem equipped guitar. The Santana quickly became one of the standouts in my Guitar fam.
