At rehearsal a few days ago I took my McCarty with HarmonicDesign P90s. Rather than take an amp I plugged into my brother's 15 watt Monoprice tube amp.
It sang with the gain and master at 12 o'clock.
Since I have an H head into a 15" Celestion Fullback,1980 Deluxe Reverb with a vintage Celestion Blue, a vintage Tweed Deluxe and Victoria Tweed Deluxe. I was scratching my head at the glorious tone coming out of a Chinese amp that cost my brother under $200. Now they're $275. The only thing that comes close is the Carr Sportsman at $2,200.
Anyone else have a Monoprice?
