Modern Eagle pickups in a McCarty Rosewood....

Lately I'm finding my McCarty RW to sounds a little on the thin side with the stock pickups. I am searching for a warmer tone and thought a set of ME's might do the trick. Any thoughts on this idea?

I put a pair of MEs in my BRW McCarty. Major improvement. Then... I put a set of 57/08s in there. Even better!

I am assuming that the "ME's" are actually the RP 's that they were later labelled as??

Yes, they are one and the same. Some folks just refer to them as pups from an ME...

But not to be confused with ME2 pups - which are not RP's.
