Did you change anything else while you were in there? Everyone says it comes on REALLY fast, volume wise. From quiet to LOUD with the tiniest movement of the volume knob. Wondering if you did anything to give more range in there by changing the pot or anything.

If this is helpful, the rep from the company was quick in his responses

"...but be aware, just swapping the OT will not make it a 50 watt amp.

It will increase the clean headroom but to get 50 actual watts out of it would require redoing the entire power supply circuit and likely using a different power transformer as well which we do not offer for this amp at this time." -MM

6 solder points. You could technically splice the existing wires if you don't solder. I had to drill one hole in the Chassis for a mounting screw, I used the other existing hole.
