I bet PRS will "test-the-water" with Holcomb 6 and might start yet another limited run.

Somehow I did not see PRS coming out with sevenstring guitars...but then again I never imagined Periphery's signature models would be made by PRS, Jackson and Ibanez.

I do not know too much about musicians endorsement deals, but does this mean that Mark might have to give up his Mayones? Perhaps Holcomb 8?!

I think it really depends on the company. I know certain companies are very picky about this and artists have been rumored to drop endorsements because said company didn't want them to be seen with anything but their brand (cough....John Mayer.....cough). PRS doesn't seem to have a problem with endorsees being seen with other brands, so I would guess that would be up to Mayones' discretion.

As unlikely as it is to happen, I would love to see and SE with the string through design and the extended scale, similar to the Clint Lowery. Unfortunately, as a college student, anything beyond an SE is out of my price range at this point. That being said, I'm absolutely loving these limited runs that PRS are doing (MH as well as the DW) and think it's a very cool way to have a sig for these great artists without having a full line like Santana or Mark Tremonti.

Yeah, same here. I started thinking that maybe I wouldn't actually get mine in May...but with all of them popping up online, makes me feel like maybe they will hit the mid-may estimate! I'll have it just in time for me to get accustomed to it before my band plays the one show we have this year.

So I had this page open on my laptop with the picture enlarged. My wife walks over, stops, counts the strings, says "nope", then walks away.

Kind of a PSA relating to Mark Holcomb products..

So I ordered a Mark Holcomb signature delay pedal from Pro Tone Pedals a week ago and haven't received any confirmation of any kind. Any posts I send to their Facebook page get deleted by whoever runs the page without any kind of a response.


So far it's been an extremely unsatisfactory customer experience. All I have at this point is an email from PayPal saying I gave them $300 (cdn). And for that amount of money I DO expect at least a "yes" or "no" answer to my questions.



I've seen other people post similar questions to their page (they ignore their PMs, as well, in my experience), all of which have been deleted. So it seems they have no problem taking people's money and just letting them sit there with no follow up on whether or not they're actually going to get a pedal and when.

Considering calling my CC provider and reversing the purchase.

EDIT: After calling them out in a Facebook post, they responded immediately and said that my pedal will be shipping as soon as it's ready. That's all I wanted. Why was that so damn hard?
