I agree that the Tremonti SE neck pickup is great, although the bridge doesn't sing to me as well. Seems a little too thin/brittle?

RE the strings, I have 10's on my Tremonti SE and they seem fine. It's a 2016 model.

Congrats...gorgeous guitar!!!! also, I don't think there would be an issue if you decide to bump strings up to 10's...haven't heard of many issues there, but if you go thicker than 10's, might consider some "nut work"...Enjoy that beautiful thang!!!!
