If it’s a 1957/2008 limited McCarty, which it certainly looks like it is, I can see why. I also have the same exact guitar and the same exact sentiment.

That must be what she is. I found all the case candy in the compartment of the case. Hang tag says 3/8/08. The first two numbers of serial number on the head stock are obscured by the "D" tuner. This baby is freakin' awesome ! These pickups have more clarify than the DGT I had and this neck is perfect...and it sustains so well.
She's a lifer for me.

That's a beauty!! I have an SC245 57/08 Limited, and it is simply the most amazing guitar I have EVER laid my hands on. If your McCarty is a 57/08 LTD - which it looks to be - you've got yourself an amazing piece. Shoot, if it's NOT a LTD, it's still gonna be amazing. Write PRS Customer Service with the S/N and ask them what you have.
