You can always go with a Knaggs Kenai. I have one identical to this one, and it rips. Plus, you get a guitar built by Joe Knaggs, who, if I remember correctly, is largely responsible for the original PRS Singlecut.

I have 3 Kenais and they are some of my favorite guitars. Build quality and cosmetics are right there with Private Stocks, (for obvious reasons...).

100%. I've been lucky to have 2 of them. I actually built a Tim Mahoney inspired Keya as opposed to getting a Standard 24 built through Private Stock. Those rip as well!

Nice! Rosewood fingerboards will have warm highs and great midrange. Ebony will be much brighter with less mids due to wood hardness and density..

If you were to simply order a black 594 and find someone who can properly disassemble and gold plate the hardware…you would be in fat city, the affordable kind.

Google Private Stock #7171.
This one haunts me.

Nice specimen, but no gold hardware. What sticks out to me about 7171 is the sensational photography and bird block inlays. Otherwise, a core SC594 will get you all the way there tone wise, guaranteed.
