From NAMM the Pearl and Satin Birds of a Feather, you Love it or Leave it?

I'm very impressed by the overall aesthetic. I agree with Tosca that the heel cap would be cool with pearl. Personally, I don't really care for the headstock being mostly pearl. I'd go black with the pearl eagle. I'd also go with purfling on the TRC. Did anyone play it? How does it SOUND?
 
I'm with the seemingly small group that prefers less pearl on the neck and even headstock. For me the pearl in that quantity reduces the focus on the guitar as a musical instrument and pushes the guitar into objet d'art or curiosity category. How does all that pearl improve the musical quality?

It was my favorite PRS guitar from NAMM. I wonder which lucky vendor (then player) will get it.
 
I wouldn't kick it out of bed for eatin' crackers.

And I'm talking the really annoying, big pieces of salt kind. I hate that.
