I know what you mean. I have one too, but a solid. Don't be afraid to adjust heights, though. Great guitars!

This. You may be surprised at how much better it can sound.

I started at Christmas with an S2 594 SC and have added 2 SE 245s since then and all of them are better off after tweaking including the action, truss rod, intonation and pickup height. If you're concerned, just measure everything of how it is now and count the turns that you change. And if it hasn't had it before PRS tung oil makes the fretboard gorgeous!

I have an S2 Studio - The Vela is pretty close to my guitar at least in the neck and bridge pick up positions. Would have liked a satin guitar. Enjoy your new axe!
