Yeaaaaah. I finally got my PRS wood library cu22!!
Hello! I'm happy to join PRS forum and meet you guys!
I've heard that there are 3 different wire types of 57/08 pickup.
1.4 conductor
2.single conductor
3.single conductor w/ white split wire.
My guitar pickups are 1st type 4 conductor.
My question is that, If I got 3rd type pickup(single conductor with white split wire), Can I use it with 4 conductor pickup at the same time?
Can I use neck pickup 4conductor and bridge pickup single conductor w/ white wire simultaneously?
My pickup set is mixed with 57/08 for neck and 59/09 for bridge. But because, for me, 57/08 sounds better so I'm gonna try to change it with 57/08 treble.
When I try to buy that, I found 3rd version of 57/08 on ebay.
That's why I'm asking now.
ps. sorry for my horrible English. I just have stayed in the US about 9 months XD.
And are you guys recommending change it or use original pickups?
