My baby is finally dressed up... I think I'm going to oil the pickup rings a little bit to help match the cocobolo on the fretboard and the tophat knobs from a different artisan. I still like all cocobolo whether I get them matched up with oiling or not... Looks like an entirely different guitar. Pics do not do it justice at all!!!

Whole guitar! Cocobolo tuning key buttons are original equipment.

What WOULD be the best thing to apply to the pickup rings to slightly darken them a little closer to the Cocobolo fretboard (and other add-ons) besides time and handling?

I use F1 oil for all exposed wood that’s not coated. Keep it nice and dark. Just use a qtip

Very nice. I think I might be within a couple of hours of you in Nov. Maybe a detour is in order.

The stuff I use can be found at Walgreens. Safe for skin and cuticles, great for wood. Lasts a long time.

Do not use a cleaner. They tend to strip the wood of oils. Stay away from petroleum, IMO.

I use Savannah Bee Beeswax Hand and Nail Salve. A little goes a long way, not greasy.
