Blade Switch Cap Loose

on my 408. It slides up and down but hasn't come off. Is there a way to tighten it or do I need to replace it?

If they are like the tips on the trem arm they are stuck on with a glue that can be heated and softened. I don't know if they will reset or if the glue is thermo-set, but a little time with a blow dryer might set it again. If not you will have to choose a new glue.

Had the same problem on my 408. Put a dab of crazy glue on it and no problems since. Protect the guitar with a cloth until it dries in case you use too much and drip on the finish

For me opening a tube of Crazy Glue always portends disaster. Too many body parts end up fused.
