My Mistake! This is a sneak peak of "Paul's Guitar" new model for 2013. Don't know anything else about it though. Anyone????

Hi All,

I hope you all had a wonderful Holiday Season and enjoyed time with family
and friends.

I got some info on the 2013 PRS lineup that I wanted to share with you.

There are some models that have been discontinued for 2013:

Swamp Ash Special Narrowfield
McCarty 58
SC 58
Stripped 58
Modern Eagle Quatro
Chris Henderson Sig model

At the Sanctuary we do have an Artist Package SC58 in stock as well as a
nice McCarty 58, we're sold out of the others.
PRS most likely does have some remaining inventory on most of those models,
so if you've been thinking of getting one and want to make sure you grab one
before they are all sold out, drop me a line ASAP so I can check with PRS on
the models you are looking for.

Some of the New Models that are coming for 2013 that we know of are:

Paul's Guitar (this is the guitar those of you have seen in the teaser
pictures in the Forums that everyone thinks is the 408 BRZ....)

A Brent Mason Signature model

Gary Grainger Production model 4 and 5 string Signature model basses.

2 Neal Schon Models, a 14" and 15", both Carved top singlecut semi-hollow
models with Floyd Rose Tremolos. (if you subscribe to the Premier Guitar
newsletters you may have seen the recent rig rundown with Neal where he
talks about them)

The return of the SC245

The return of the production Custom 22 [with stock HFS/Vintage Bass pickups]

There are also 2 new amp models coming, the Two Channel "Custom" and Paul's
MDT Custom


There are also some new options available:

Custom 22s can optionally have 57/08's

Custom 24s can optionally have HFS/Vintage Bass (they get uncovered 57/08s
as stock pickups for 2013)

ALL uncovered PRS pickups are now the square bobbins.

P22s get uncovered 57/08s

Artist package guitars now have an Artist grade Brazilian rosewood as the
stock option

The Artist Package is now available on the following electric models:

SC 245, Custom 22, Custom 24, Studio, 408 MT, 513 MT, P22, HB II & SC HB II,
DGT, Tremonti, Santana

(yes, you can get Artist Package 408s AND DGTs now.....)

There is also an artist package option for Amplifiers now where you can
choose the tolex and choose the maple front panel color you want.

Acoustic guitars also get an Artist Package option where you can choose Koa
or 3 Piece Brazilian Rosewood back and sides...


We are taking orders NOW for all of these incredible new models and options,
so if there is something you are interested in and want to get in early,
contact me ASAP.

I must say though, I find it odd that the powers that be have chosen to offer TWO Schon-Floyd-Archtops instead of a Maryland made 6 string baritone or 7 string.
