58/15 LT+ pups on new 594 double-cuts?

I've been looking at new 594 double-cuts. Some come with straight LT pups, some with LT+. I had thought PRS had reserved the LT+ pups for the single-cut 594s.

Any comments on LT vs LT+ on the double-cut guitars?

Indeed, that's odd. I too thought the LT+ pickups were only for SC594 guitars...

I have been seeing that too while window shopping. It may be dealers were making special orders or limited runs to keep us wanting more.

Nope. I’ve got a 2021 limited edition C24 with 58/15 LT+ pups. And very lovely sounding they are too!

I'm actually looking for comparisons between the LT and the LT+ on the double cut.

My preference is to find a 594 w/ LT pups, but I keep finding guitars that I'm attracted to with LT+.

In particular are LT pups closer to vintage PAFs (low output); how much more output to the LT+ pups have?
