Picked up a new to me PRS 277 baritone
Just curious on some of the mods you have done

I have the semi-hollow version and I'm quite content as is.

I Do like it but Just for me i need a little More punch. I had Picked her Up used and she looks like someone did not know what they were doing on set up one saddle is kinda messed up doesn’t feel right when you restring and go B-B the intonation is definitely off. It is a 2020 model.
What strings are you running and tuning

Standard B-B, currently with the strings it came with. Boring, but it is in my vocal range.

Im planning the same tuning but i am going to give StringJoy 12-58’ Baritone strings a try not sure if i like the 14-68 but with the set up that someone attempted or tried to adjust and did it poorly may be a big factor

I always thought an 85/15 and Squabbin \m/ would be a nice combo in a 277. Also thought about doing the Paul’s Guitar treble swap into the 277 SH Soapbar would be interesting.

I have an old P Bass with flatwounds and it's had me thinking about trying some on the 277 for a slide of meat.

Heard great things about Mark Tenorio in Denver! Good move

I love my SE277, but the only mod I have made is not visible. I added a second push/pull pot in the volume position to split the neck pickup separately from the bridge. I also wired the switch for the neck pickup backward so that down is single coil mode as I tend to mostly use the neck or combined positions clean and I prefer the single coil sound for that. Then when I flip to the bridge position it defaults to full humbucker.

The 277 is a cool guitar. I wish they made the Semi-Hollow soapbar versions for a few more years though. Even humbucker versions! They're a rare find.
