With the CE24 being reissued this season, any chance the CE22 might return?
I liked playing the CE24 when I was deciding between it and my new S2, but I just prefer 22 fret guitars.

I think so. Purely speculation on my end. Here's why I think so:

1) They started a new section called "Bolt On Models" in the product section of the website.
2) When they rolled out the S2s, they released 3 models at first. Here it is not even 3 years later, they have 15 models available.
3) They fill a price point higher than S2s, a price point that up until maybe 5 years ago was occupied by core models with non-10 tops and moon inlays, that Core models no longer come close to filling.

I would love one! Pattern neck carve, please. Maybe 58/15s for additional visual differentiation...

I think your new one is a Pattern Thin right?
I would like a choice of having a hardtail over the tremolo.
All of my PRS's are trems with the exception of the ZM and the acoustic.

If they make this, I will buy it.

If they do, I may get myself into trouble. The 24 fret model felt great, except I don't like the long neck. I have visions of a new CE22 taking a trip to the PTC.

A CE22 would (should) have a Core stoptail on it too... addressing one of the complaints about the CE24, anyway...
