What's up with the (https://www) threads?

As a precaution, I've never opened one of these posts as they look like they will not open like a normal thread and will instead open the URL. With my luck that URL will load something invasive on my tablet.
I've not seen this type of thread on other forums. It doesn't make sense to me to try and market some crap to a collection of guys so old that we fart dust The erectile dysfunction links being posted here kinda made sense

They won't open on those spam links, just a post like these.

This forum software isn't super robust about spam detection or burner accounts, so it seems to allow these every night.

If the poster has not bothered to state what the link is all about, I don't click it. Its a lazy & smart@ss stuff.

Quite apart from the potential nuisance/danger, I am pretty much always disappointed anyway.
