The volume pot on my 2010 special22 needs replacing. Is it a 500k pot?
The guitar is the one with HSH - 245 humbuckers and fralin single in the middle.

I'd probably go 500K. That's what the humbuckers want to see.

The Fralin might like 250K more and might sound a little bright with 500K.

So if that's the case just turn the volume down ever so slightly if your ears tell you to.

There is always the 300K option ... CTS and Gibson make them ...https://www.visionguitar.com/products/cts-300k-eric-johnson-split-shaft-audio-potentiometer-vintage-style-volume-pot

Certain really aggressive humbuckers, like the Seymour Duncan JB, sound sweeter to me with 250K or 300K pots.

But most paf types sound kind of dull to me with 250K.

I just put a PRS 500k ohm pot in my Eric Johnson Strat and really like it. Have always liked the pot on my PRS (taper, friction, quality etc) and was disappointed there wasn't a 250k option made my PRS for me to use. Eventually I thought sod it, I'll try the 500k, What's the worst that can happen. Anyway, works a treat.

What value volume pot comes stock in a Custom 22 with 3-P90's? Taper-wise it sounds a linear as not much happens until you roll it down below 4... OK to go 'audio' pot I assume, but what value was stock?
Thnx, Kenny ॐ
