Taming the SE One

The 500K pot is a little bright on that guitar with no tone pot. Instead of replacing it with a lower value, I did this fast mod that does the same as going down to a 250K pot. It really helped in fattening that tone. It now sends my LP Jr in the corner.

That's a great way to do it. I would not have thought of that.
Very nice. I tamed my old one by dropping a bucker in it ;)
That's not taming, that's neutering! That P90 is there for a reason.

But I always say, "Make it your own", so if that works for you, then I'm glad you did it.

Oh it grew more balls than the P90 ;). But there’s nothing wrong with the P90, great little rocker!
 
Ok, I’m a dummy.
What model is that? I’ve never seen a PRS with no tone control.
 
That's a great idea. I'd have been lazy and put a Gibson 300k pot or whatever they are. Or some other brand.
