I had thought about typing a long detailed description about this new guitar I got but then I realized photos are what everyone cares about. I'm guessing this is one of the more unusual headstocks you have ever seen.

Here are a few more pics.

I'm working on figuring out the exact specs now. I think its got a pattern neck and I know it has P22 pickups. It's very light so I'm curious what the body is made out of. The pickup cavities are painted so I can't see the wood.

It sounds great. I'm not sure I need the piezo but it's an added bonus. My interest was in having a CU24 with a stoptail. Being a prototype was cool to.

That looks right but doesn't seem to work on the decoder I used. Maybe the R&D guitars use a different system

It's obvious that the current MODCAT decrypto card wouldn't be helpful.
