at least you got one part right, I am no lawyer thoughI have a sneaky suspicion that a lot of the people on here that dare others to get another PRS are divorce attorneys...Just saying.

After doing some searching last night for a few hours I have a question. Did PRS ever put the bird inlays on the older CE's?
Yes, but rarely as far as I know.
They must be very rare. I searched three different major used guitar sites and didn't see a single one. I kind of like the older CE's to the new ones but really wanted those bird inlays since all my other guitars have moons and this been my first PRS. But at the end of the day it just looks I guess.
The CE generally had dot inlay, a round disc of abalone (maybe mother of pearl some years?). Moons have a crescent of mother of pearl with the rest of the circle filled with abalone, and seem to have been reserved for set neck models.
Hate to bring up an old thread but just want to give an end to it. After a few weeks of searching, some haggling and a little crying. I finally found the one. I will soon be the proud owner of a 2005 Custom 22 20th anniversary with the anniversary bird inlays and the color is vintage natural. As soon as I get her I'll get some pictures and do NGD thread. Thanks again everyone for the help.
We'll I'm kinda bummed. Wheat to pick up the custom 22 today only to find out that even though I was told it was in great condition, it was not. It needed some new frets and the back looked like a Rottweiler chewed on it. Luckily I was able to reject it and get my money back. Oh well back to the search.
Aw man, that sucks!
Keep up the search. Something will pop up...again...and again...and again...
