Strings hanging on pickups

I have several SE guitars. I have found while I am playing that the high E moves under the plastic top of my pickups. I saw that Dimebag put plastic tape on the sides of his neck pickup for this reason. The only other solution I can think of is to put a nickel cover on the pickup. Can anyone else suggest a different solution?

Sounds like you might need a pickup height adjustment....
