Anyone have anything to report on the single coils sounds from the 85/15s? I'm very interested in something in this flavor 
splits on 85/15s?

I'm wanting to make sure I clarify what I think it is I'm answering: the "in between" positions? IOW #2 & 4 positions? Because they aren't single coils, just a different combination of coils.
I like both positions pretty well for clean or slightly overdriven work. They do a respectable imitation of the #4 position on a Strat (where #5 is the neck only...I can never remember which end to start counting at.). My biggest issue with them is that both those positions sound very similar to one another. One has a bit more girth, but pretty similar. I may try to figure out a different combination...or just try some different pickups.
