Thanks Sergio. We play in Eb most of the show but we tune to D for a half a set. I loved the 5909 bridge in the McCarty but when I tune it to D it loses something.

Oh, and back OT, here are a couple of very recent guitars whose genetic roots are 100% in the McCarty series. And which, I must admit, get FAR more play time than the two pictured above. (though not necessarily through either of these amps!)

Kingsley - I must say, I never get tired of seeing that gorgeous Citrus Glow DGT!!

My PS I just put in the oven is going to be a very similar Orange Glow Smokeburst, yours is part of the inspiration for my finish selection! I specifically asked for a little more golden yellow in the middle this time around, like yours has.
