SE Kingfisher / Kestrel

Anyone play either of these? Thoughts/impressions?

Tonally, how do they compare to either a P or J bass?

How's the neck feel/shape relative to a P or J bass?

Yep, bought a Kingfisher when they first came out.
I dig it, but I have played nothing else to compare it to except for the Grainger prototype which Paul brought to a clinic I went to back in 2013.

The bass is very easy to play.

I just ordered a Kestrel from Dave's Guitars. Can't wait to try it out. Unfortunately though I won't be able to compare it to a Fender, as my last two basses were a Rogue (Musicians Friend house gear) and a Yamaha entry level. I like what I hear on the videos though, especially the warmer stuff, which is where my tastes lie.
