Has anyone tried parallel humbucker wiring on the Paul's or Paul's SE pickups with their unbalance coils? Very curious about how this atypical design would sound in scenarios where a brighter tone is needed in an electrically very noisy room.
As a bonus I'm curious how splitting to the "wrong" weak coils would sound, maybe for an intentionally thin and twangy sound.
The wiring I'm considering is the third one here: https://www.seymourduncan.com/blog/latest-updates/the-p-rails-wiring-bible-part-3 Instead of using individual coil splits it uses the two switches to select either the outer or the inner coils, and provides parallel humbuckers when both switches are thrown.
