SE EG Fretboard colour

Hi everyone, i'm looking for a Prs SE EG Black HSS and scrolling the pics on the web i've noticed some differences in the rosewood fretboard colour, some appear darker while others seem to be lighter or at least more red. Is it just an effect of the different pics, or just different rosewood batch? The lighter ones immediately taste cheaper to me Thanks!

There is a wide range in how dark rosewood is.
Different photos can show the same colour very differently.

There is a way to darken a fretboard IIRC.
