I just bought an SE245 and was curious about the pickups.
(The guitar has shipped but I have not yet received it)
I have an early model Tremonti SE and the pickups were sub-par.
I've since added a Deep Dish II in the bridge and it is one of the best sounding guitars in my arsenal.
Unfortunately, the Deep Dish II is hard to come by, so I have to ask ...
For those who own the SE245, what are your thoughts on the stock pickups, and if you've replaced them ... with what?
From the clips I've heard on YouTube, the pickups sound a little "airy" (for lack of a better term).
Of course, I also understand that sound clips will sound different depending on amps, mics, settings, etc ...
Your thoughts?
