For a warranty repair/finish issue, or a refin to a new color?

To the same color (black gold burst). I bought it new so it has warranty, however the color seems to have faded a bit.

I just had a warranty refin done by the PTC - 12 weeks, door to door, which is what they told me to expect. Quality of the work resulted in a guitar even better than when it originally left the factory as a new guitar!

Stupid question but are warranty refinishes limited to 1 per model?

If there is a finish problem with your guitar from the factory it would be covered, however many times it takes to get it right.
But if you were to keep your guitar outside its case and exposed to light, it will fade and that isn't covered under warranty (typically).
