I recently found the deal of the century, buying this guitar in brand new condition, with a hard case for $400. Blue Matteo has always been my favorite PRS color but I didn’t even know they made SE’s in it. To find a hollow-body in one which is ultimately what I really wanted to was amazing. This guitar is absolutely awesome and I don’t plan to sell it at all, I’m just trying to find out if these were some sort of special limited run or something because I cannot find them anywhere. Do I have something super rare on my hands that’s highly sought after? Or did I get a dud that no one wants. Few mods I’m gonna do is change to PRS locking tuners(probably with the exposed gears), have the neck sanded down to a semi gloss finish, and change the pickups back to PRS pickups. Maybe core ones with nickel covers. Any thoughts are appreciated.
