PRS DC3 Questions

So I recently caught a listing for a DC3. Unfortunately, I was a little too late, but it has me intrigued. It looks like they're definitely out there and not too difficult to find. How many of you guys own/have owned them? Basically, I have a Highway One Strat that sounds nice but just doesn't compare to my PRSi. I'm thinking a DC3 might be just stratty sounding enough to fit my single coil needs while still giving the playability of a PRS.

DC3 like the 513 and NF3 have a 25 1/4 scale neck that I LOVE !!!

So another question. I've seen where the back of the neck has a satin finish. How is the fretboard finished on the DC3s with maple boards? Are they super glossy likea lot of Fenders or is it a satin finish as well?

It's satiny smooth, not glossy.

Paul talks about the neck near the end of this video , I have 2 with the maple and they are SWEET
My 305 had a gloss finish these are closer to the feel of rosewood
